The Medical Terminology course is designed as an introductory beginner course for students who are seeking to obtain a career in the healthcare industry. The learning objectives in this course will introduce students to terminology of medical health in order to pursue a variety of allied health programs. Course objectives will include Concepts, Body Systems, and Special Senses.
Learning Objectives: This course will include Concepts: Suffixes & Prefixes, Body Structure, Disease and Treatment. Body Systems: Integumentary, Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, and Mental Health. Special Senses: Ears, Eyes, Endocrine, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Blood, Immunity, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Male and Female Reproduction.
